The Green Cedar Story: We source our timber from the huge forest in British Columbia in Canada.  Their Timber is the best for manufacturing timber venetian blinds.   It is lightweight and straight grained and is cut to increase its stability. Therefore it stays straight over reasonable distances and is far less inclined to warp or twist. Cedar is environmentally friendly and is made entirely with renewable resources.  Steel requires 21 times the energy to produce and releases 15 times the sulfer dioxide when compared to wood. It is full biodegradable so therefore doesn't clutter landfills and contains natural preservatives so is naturally resistant to decay and insects.

The componets we use that are invisable to the user are of the highest quaility so you will have years of trouble free operation.

As and example:  

• We use a solid brass roller in the cordlock and provides a easy rolling opertion
• All cords and ladder tape are prestreched so the blinds do not drop like curtains
• All the cedar is oiled in our factory or coated with a Ultra Violet coating
• The tilt bar is solid metal
